ARMED GANG ‘break into home and LOCK mum and kids up in bathroom’
The incident occurred between 7.45pm and 8.45pm on Friday, January 3 as three armed men forced their way into an address in De La Warr Drive in Banbury.
Thames Valley Police say that the offenders locked the occupants, a woman in her forties and her two children, in the bathroom while they searched the property but nothing was stolen.
A description of the offenders was also provided by the force with each man of the trio allegedly wearing a high-vis jacket while they also all had their faces covered and carried clipboards.

TVP are now appealing for witnesses to the aggravated burglary in Banbury and posted an update on social media today (Sunday, January 5).
Investigating officer Detective Constable Daniel Smith, of the Priority Crime Team based at Banbury police station, said: “I understand this may be concerning for the community but there is nothing to suggest there is any wider threat to the public.
“Fortunately, the only injury was a minor neck injury for the female victim but this was obviously an extremely distressing incident for them all.
