Nativity play supports Blue Peter TV show

In addition to the nativity play, the children entertained their parents and friends with a string of Christmas music.

The proceeds from a collection and entrance fees went towards an appeal launched by the TV children’s show, Blue Peter, in aid of struggling families in Cambodia.

Lesley Judd and Tina Heath were among the presenters of the popular show in 1979.
