Pro-EU protests continue in Georgia after police raid opposition offices

Protesters rallied outside Georgia’s Parliament building for a seventh consecutive night on Thursday to vent their anger at the government’s decision to suspend the process of joining the European Union. 

Earlier in the day, in a sign of a widening crackdown, Georgian police searched the offices and homes of prominent activists and opposition leaders and detained seven of them.
