Rams OLB Jared Verse says he thinks about the Eagles’ loss ‘every day’

Jared Verse’s NFL career is very young, but he already has a game he thinks about often.
Verse told The Rich Eisen Show that he thinks about the Rams’ loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in the 2024 NFC Divisional Round “every day.”
“It crosses my mind about three times a day,” he said. “I think about how if I did this, or I did that, we could have — if Saquon’s big run to the opposite of the field, if I didn’t hesitate off the bat, I could have caught him … I could have been better. I could have stopped that. It upsets me every day because he could have won that game.”
Verse added earlier in the interview that if defensive end Braden Fiske hadn’t left the game after three snaps they could have won and even gone on to win the Super Bowl.
Verse himself had a tremendous playoff performance. He sacked Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts twice and tallied four combined tackles. And in the Rams’ previous playoff win over the Minnesota Vikings, Verse returned a fumble for a touchdown.
It’s still early in his career, but Verse seems adamant of making sure devastating losses like the one against the Eagles never happen again.
